Undercover operatives, special operations personnel, and law enforcement all agree…

The improvised weapon you actually have with you ALWAYS beats the perfect weapon you wish you had.

And, today, I'm super excited to tell you about the tool that has become my favorite improvised weapon for real-world EDC (Everyday Carry)...

I’m “Ox”, creator of Dry Fire Training Cards, VisionTraining.com and author of the book, "Real World Gunfight Training."

If you're like me, you love tactical pens.

They're an awesome tool to either end a fight when you can't carry a purpose built weapon OR to help you buy the time and space you need to get a gun into the fight.

Do you know what I DON'T love about tactical pens?

  • How the sharp edges wear holes in clothes
  • How heavy they are and how they pull on my clothes
  • How they SCREAM "tactical" to anyone even moderately switched on
  • How most suck as an actual writing tool
  • How most of them actually hurt the user when deployed as a striking tool
  • And the problems it can cause trying to get them through security.

But what if I told you there was a *NEW* defensive tool you could carry in gun free zones including big box stores, schools, churches, sporting events, concerts, malls, college campuses, courthouses, commercial flights, or other highly secure areas that would allow you to react and put a fight ending strike on an attacker in less than half a second?

And if it didn’t stop your attacker cold in his tracks, it would buy you the time you need to draw your pistol or get a better tool into the mix.

This self-defense tool is so easy and effective that it’s widely considered to be the perfect tool for both the tactical and non-tactical people in your life, regardless of age or fitness level.

Over the last few months of testing, it has become one of my favorite "invisible" self defense tools.

What is it?

It’s the Super-Stealth Tactical Pen...and as you're about to see, there are a few significant differences between it and most tactical pens.

Introducing: The Super-Stealth Tactical Pen

Why is it “super-stealth”

One of my biggest criteria for a tactical pen that I’m going to carry in secure areas is that the pen WORK like a weapon but not LOOK like a weapon.

It’s not only important for secure areas, but if it ends up as an exhibit in a justified use of force case, I don’t want it to be used against me.

That means it shouldn’t look intimidating, tactical, or have tactical wording or logos on it.

In fact, I had the VisionTraining.com wording and logo changed and put on there specifically to make the Super-Stealth TacPen appear LESS intimidating and LESS tactical.  You can legitimately say that the logo and the pen are for vision training.

Look, I enjoy the “wow” factor of cool looking gear as much as the next guy…but I don’t want to end up behind bars or on a list because thought I needed to carry a pen I could show off.

The fact is, if you’re in an area where you can’t carry weapons, you want to be the grey man and your tactical pen to blend in.  There shouldn't be ANYTHING tactical about it...except for what you can do with it.

Does that look like a solid, aircraft grade aluminum tactical pen in my shirt?  NO!  And that's awesome...it means I got absolutely no "knowing" looks from switched on people and I had no problem with security at the airport.

Why no cool sharp edges or glass breakers?

First off, when you're walking around on a daily basis, a tactical pen needs to look like..."nothing"...it needs to look like a (wait for it) pen.  If it looks cool, then it's marking you as someone who's capable and prepared and a good first target.

Next, I got tired of seeing signs at TSA saying tactical pens are prohibited.  In order to be useful, you need to be able to actually take it ANYWHERE.  Even places that you can't go with normal tactical pens, like airplanes and courthouses.

Finally, I came to the realization that I needed a "normal" pen that was tough enough to use for tactical applications that was rugged enough for action, looked good enough for being dressed up, and that wouldn't wear holes in my clothes.

That led to a multi-year search for the perfect "normal" looking pen that would be invisible but stand up to defensive use.

A Dirty Secret About Pens…

Ever use a pen on a tether at a bank, when signing a credit card receipt, or any other “public” pen?

They’re DISGUISTING disease vectors that never get cleaned…in fact, your best hope during flu season is that they get stolen and replaced frequently.  Otherwise it's like you're shaking hands with the last 50 random people who used the pen.

But let's look at the positive side...

Signing actually provides you an opportunity…for practice.

The more often you use your super-stealth tactical pen to protect yourself from nasty illnesses, the more smooth and fluid you'll be if you need to grab it to defend yourself from an attacker.

Do you REALLY want to keep the skin on your thumb?

A lot of cool looking tactical pens have sharp, jagged caps.

Some go so far as to call them “DNA Collection Tools.”

Think about that for a second.

If you’re striking with the tip and holding your thumb on the cap of the pen so it doesn’t slip in your hand, the DNA you’re going to be collecting will be from YOUR thumb.

That’s why I like a nice, flat, smooth cap on a tactical pen.

It saves my thumb when striking, doesn’t draw unwanted attention when it’s sticking out of my pocket or shirt collar, and doesn't wear a hole in my pants when I carry it there.

It writes too!

It sounds funny to say that, but it will actually work as a pen and uses standard Parker refills that you can get at any big box store.  (Some tactical pens use specialized or expensive refills that are a pain to find.)

There's no cap to take off, unscrew, or keep track of...you just twist it like a fine Swiss pen and start writing.

What’s the best news?

Your Super-Stealth Tactical Pen will come in this presentation box that's perfect for gift giving OR another layer of stealth.

Lifetime Warranty?!?

It sucks when gear breaks…especially gear that is intended for hard use.

That’s why I warranty these pens.

If it ever breaks, send it back and I’ll replace the pen (just cover ordinary shipping and handling).

Just because there are "those people" out there, if you hit it with a hammer, shoot it out of a PVC pipe with a 900psi CO2 cartridge at a cinder block, or try doing hammer strikes on a 2x4 or a car door...that's on you.  🙂  (Don't ask.  I "may" be one of "those people")

To be clear, the warranty is on the pen…not on the ink.  It’s a great deal, but I’ve got to draw the line somewhere.

Get 10 Free Pens

If you have a justified use of force incident using your Super-Stealth Tactical Pen, send in a copy of the police report (or incident report if you were on duty) and we’ll send you out 10 free pens to give to those you care about most.

What about stopping threats in half the time as a .45?

How fast can you draw from concealment and get a shot off when someone’s tugging on your support hand?

Let’s say you're smoke'n fast and you can clear cover one-handed, draw, and make a gut shot in 1.5 seconds.

The simple fact is, the weapon that will stop a threat fastest at bad breath distance is the weapon you've already got in your hand.  < Don't gloss over this...it's a critical point.

While you can’t walk around with your pistol in your hand without drawing unwanted attention, you CAN walk around with your pen in your hand, or gripping your pen.  And you can easily connect with a fight ending face, throat, or forearm strike in half a second--which is easily twice as fast as you could get to your gun, draw it, and start making hits.

With practice, you can “draw” your tactical pen from your breast pocket, collar, or pants pocket and still deliver your first strike in less than a second.

At that point, you can run, deliver additional strikes if necessary, or transition to a more effective weapon like a knife or gun.  But the key is, with a tactical pen, you can deliver a devastating first strike in half the time as it would take with a holstered gun.

Busting the biggest Tactical Pen Myth…

A tactical pen can immediately tip the scales in your favor in a violent encounter…but only if you actually know how to use it.

That’s why I went to a buddy of mine who’s a former US Army Special Forces weapons sergeant and MMA fighter.

His name is Andy Curtiss, but his looks and ferociousness downrange gained him the name “Rabid Wolverine.”

Most Special Forces are experts in hand to hand combat and improvised weapons.

Andy taught a lot of them.

He’s the guy who 3rd Special Forces Group went to when they needed to revamp their empty hands combatives program.

Because of his background and credentials, I asked him if he'd take what he's taught and create a written TacPen Fighting Guide for me.

Andy has taught and used tactical pen, kubotan, screwdriver, and other improvised weapon fighting techniques for more than a decade and this guide represents the best of the best in how to use a tactical pen to stop violent attacks.  As a special bonus, you'll get instant access to this guide the moment you order...it's the kind of simple, powerful training that you could read today and use tonight if you needed to.

Some of what you’ll learn…

  • 12 most effective targets to use with tactical pens (more is NOT necessarily better)
  • Methods of carry for fastest deployment
  • Best methods of striking...especially important against bigger, stronger attackers.
  • Both lethal and less-lethal strikes
  • Field reports from medical examiners on the force required based on the target and the angle of your strike
  • Locks and traps
  • And more!

What I tell people who already have a tactical pen is that this guide will help unlock the true potential of their tactical pen.

If you already own a tactical pen, you NEED this guide.  (Besides...most tactical pens don't have a glass breaker tip and I don't know anyone who owns a tactical pen who thinks that one is enough.)

All of the movements in the guide are simple and based on things you do every day.

And they’ll help you with targeting, using the pen to focus your strike for maximum effect with minimal effort, and the best ways to get the penetration you need to stop a violent attack quickly.

That means you won’t need to learn complicated techniques to be effective in a high stress situation…even if it happens next week.

So regardless of whether this is your first tactical pen or your 10th and regardless of whether you’re buying for yourself, your entire family, or your entire department, you need this tactical pen guide.

Which is why I’m including Instant Access To The Tactical Pen Guide for free with your Super-Stealth Tactical Pen!

Here’s the downside…

I was only able to get a limited number of these awesome pens for the first shipment.

And when I get them, they go FAST!

It’s not really a surprise…they cost a fraction of what many tactical pens cost, they’re warrantied for life, satisfaction is guaranteed for 60 days, and the tactical pen guide is worth more on it’s own than what you’ll pay for the entire package!
